Chrismas Eve

Chandlyr and Kali are building a cute little gingerbread house.
It is hard to get a face shot of Chandlyr so 3\4 of a face will have to do.

Brecklyn reminds me of my sister Angie when she smiles like this.

Everyone is opening their pajamas on christmas eve.

Brody's christmas Bash

This is our Friends that came to the fourth annual Brody Christmas Bash. Tyler and Nicole also came but left before we could get a picture. Doug and Mckeal could not attend and hope to see them next year. The Highlight was Zac's white elephant, sorry can't show you a picture. Those who were there know why.

Eric and Janiel
Zac and Natalie

Art and Heather
Kyle and Brieanne

Richard and Natalie

Shara and Josh

Joel and Liz +1

Chandlyr thought she needed some salt, the big white blob on her plate is a pile of salt that she dumped while we weren't looking. She probably didn't want to finish her dinner.

Jaygen update

I took Jaygen to his nine month appointment a few weeks ago. He is doing so good. He was a little over twenty pounds and is 29 inches long. Weight is in the 85% and height 100%. It was a little different to hear that my child is in the 85%, the girls were always high 90's.
He is a very busy boy. He is crawling all over the place. He has even learned to craw up the stairs. We have lots and lots of stairs in the new house. I thought with all of the Christmas stuff out, he would be into it all. For the most part he has left it alone. He is a big time mommas boy. He could be playing with the funnest toy but as soon as he see me enter the room he will bolt to me. He loves to be held. My sister-in-law Janica gave him the nickname "the claw". He gets so excited when he is held that he will grab and claw your arms and neck.
Two weeks ago in the middle of all of the moving Jaygen decided to get five teeth all at the same time. Four on top and another on the bottom, a total of six. I can say now that I am glad they came all at once. He still wakes up at least once in the night and doesn't really like to take naps. But all in all, he is the most perfect boy I could have asked for. He will light up anyones day with his smile. We are so blessed to have Jaygen in our family. We all love him so much.

So we get back from the Polar Express and are getting the kids out of the car. I take Brecklyn and Jaygen inside and left Chandlyr for Brooke. Brooke goes through the front door and into the garage to open it because we have no remote. The car is on with the doors closed, locked, and Chandlyr inside asleep, somehow I must have locked it after with the car seat in one hand and Brecklyn in the other, figure that one out. Anyway, I had to shake the car to wake Chandlyr up who is always ornery when she wakes up unless I take Jaygen and let him wake her up. So she is crying and Brooke and I are trying to get her to unlock the door but she cant reach it cause she is strapped into her car seat. After about 30 minutes of pleading with her she just wants to go back to sleep, so we told her that we were going inside in hopes that she would be scared enough to get her arms out of the straps and unlock the door. We went inside and came right back out and she is laying her head on the side of the car seat trying to go back to sleep, she didn't even care we left just wanted to sleep. While walking inside and out Brooke is saying a silent prayer that Chandlyr will find a way to get the door unlocked. Just as we are about to call the locksmith we ask her one more time to try and reach the lock, she stops crying looks at us blankly for 3 or 4 seconds puts her hand to the door and rolls down the window. It startled both Brooke and I because neither one of us had thought to do that, Brooke quickly unbuckled her an kissed and hugged her because it was hard to see her inside the car and not be able to get to her. We are grateful for all of our blessings.
